Overview

The warehouse manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Plans, assigns and directs employee work load.
  • Writes performance appraisals.
  • Addresses and resolves complex and confidential issues.
  • Establishes operational procedures for the warehouse.
  • Must be flexible to be able to cover various positions and shifts.
  • Works closely with Branch Manager and HR to resolve issues and ensure quality service to our customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to deal with complex and confidential issues in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with current routes a must.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license.
  • Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Must regularly lift and or move 75lbs or more.
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills with an ability to converse, read & write in English.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-pace environment.
  • Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
