What You’ll Be Working On-

  • Organize and Conduct product quality testing of beverages and packaging for second supplier bench, second supplier production runs and new product qualification runs
  • Conduct or coordinate Beverage and packaging product performance evaluations, measurements and analysis
  • In coordination with the QA Manager, Calibrate beverage and packaging lab providers and suppliers as well as equipment to ensure adherence to Dunkin’ Brands standards, requirements and specifications
  • Upload product specifications in product specification databases (smart solve, PLM)
  • Track Lab reports; maintain files in accordance of quality systems requirements and quality team’s needs
  • Communicate quality systems and quality performance to all levels in the enterprise
  • Communicate and track supplier approval documentation process
  • Maintain QA laboratory cleanliness in support of the QA Managers
  • Order and receive beverage, packaging and coffee product from suppliers and distribution centers , Prepare and ship beverage, packaging and coffee products for testing to outside labs and suppliers if/when required
  • Administer the Franchisee Store QA and Incident Helpline and associated database maintenance
  • Respond to Beverage, packaging and coffee & tea related complaints and concerns, process issues, follow up on cases, communicate directly with franchisees and suppliers
    • Triage and prioritization of incidents and appropriate escalation.
    • Validation of incidents and performance using scientific and quality assurance theory, practice and tools
    • Run reports on a monthly basis of the 3 top complaints of the month. Order and receive product from suppliers and distribution centers if required
    • Alert management of pertinent complaint early on in the complaints processing system
  • Build the bridge between beverage and packaging OIL and suppliers to make sure all samples of first 3 productions runs are sent and received and tested at the OIL
  • Summarized the 3 first productions results from the OIL for beverage and packaging
  • Organize and conduct Quarterly evaluations of beverages and packaging related to beverages
  • Calibrate beverages instruments in the QA lab as required
  • Interacts with vendors, labs and suppliers as required
  • Audit of plants if required (with QA manager supervision as a start)

What You’ll Need-

  • Minimum of Associate Degree in Food Science or related field
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in quality assurance or related food industry experience, beverages experience preferred
  • General knowledge of food safety principles, FDA Food Code and Code of Federal Regulations
  • Proficient to the Quality Managers satisfaction in all analytical techniques required for the verification of product compliance to performance and technical specifications
  • Working knowledge of Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), ISO Standards, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Model Food Code, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Statistical Process Control and general microbiology
  • 10% travel
