The Human Resources/Payroll/Credentialing Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department including payroll and credentialing.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Process new employee on-boarding and orientation including employment information and benefits enrollment.
• Provides clerical support to the HR department including Payroll and Credentialing.
• Assist with payroll functions including processing, data entry, reporting, and answering employee questions
• Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Covers front reception desk as necessary when the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is on vacation or away from the office.
• Assist credentialing in maintaining compliance in various vendor systems and collecting/updating expiring documents to meet compliance regulations


• High School Diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in HR and/or Payroll environment
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Some knowledge of employment laws/regulations and compliance issues/statutes preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
• Some familiarity with multi-partnership accounting processes desired.
